Heymarket Pricing per User and Heymarket Alternatives for Sales Teams

Heymarket pricing is per user, billed annually: $49 per user a month on Standard, $99 on Plus and $199 on Pro, with Enterprise quoted on request and a 2 user minimum on every plan. Message credits are billed on top of the seats, at about 3 cents per SMS segment in Heymarket's own price calculator, and each 10DLC campaign adds $10 a month. A five person sales team on Standard pays roughly $330 a month before taxes.

We read the Heymarket pricing page in October 2026 and turned it into the figures a buyer needs before a demo call: the full plan list, what each tier unlocks, the usage charges that sit outside the seat price, and what three real sales teams would pay. If you are weighing Heymarket against another business texting tool, the numbers below are the ones to bring to the negotiation.

Heymarket plans and prices in 2026

Heymarket publishes four tiers. The page shows annual prices only and says annual billing saves up to 18 percent, so expect a higher per user rate if you ask for month to month billing.

PlanPrice per user a month, billed annuallyMinimum usersAIHubSpotSalesforceHIPAA and API
Standard$492None listedYesNoNo
Plus$992AI EssentialsYesNoNo

The cheapest possible Heymarket account is two Standard seats, which comes to $98 a month on an annual contract, or $1,176 a year, before you send a single text. Heymarket lists a free trial with no credit card required but does not say how long it lasts.

How Heymarket message credits are charged

Seats pay for access. Sending is paid separately in message credits. The pricing page lists the credit cost of each kind of message:

  • SMS or RCS segment uses 1 credit. A segment is up to 160 plain characters, so a 300 character text uses 2.
  • MMS with an image uses 2 credits.
  • RCS rich media uses 3 credits and is only available on annual plans.
  • AI agent replies use 3 credits per segment, three times the cost of a text your rep writes.
  • WhatsApp uses 1 credit.

The page does not print how many credits each plan includes. Its calculator example prices 1,000 credits at $30 a month, which is $0.03 per credit, and says extra credit bundles are added automatically at your existing per credit rate when you run out. Lower rates for high volume need a sales conversation. Ask for the included credit allowance and the overage rate in writing, because those two numbers decide most of the bill at higher volume.

Fees that are not in the seat price

Three charges show up on top of seats and credits:

  • 10DLC registration at $10 a month per campaign. Most sales teams need one campaign, but a company that texts both marketing and account notifications usually registers two.
  • Salesforce sync at $7.50 per user a month, and only on Pro. Standard and Plus cannot connect to Salesforce at all.
  • SAML single sign-on, directory sync and multi-channel automation are listed as add-ons with no published price.

Invoice billing is only available on Plus, Pro and Enterprise, so a Standard account pays by card.

What does Heymarket cost for a sales team?

Heymarket costs a five person sales team about $330 a month on Standard and about $580 on Plus, counting seats, 2,500 texts at 3 cents a credit and one 10DLC campaign. Per user pricing is the part that grows fastest, so the gap against flat plans widens as you hire. Here are three teams worked out from the published figures, all on annual billing.

TeamHeymarketMonthly totalColdTexting, billed yearly
2 reps, 1,000 textsStandard 2 x $49, 1,000 credits $30, 10DLC $10$138Growth $74, 5 users and 2,500 segments
5 reps, 2,500 textsStandard 5 x $49, 2,500 credits $75, 10DLC $10$330Growth $74, 5 users and 2,500 segments
12 reps, 10,000 texts, SalesforcePro 12 x $199, Salesforce 12 x $7.50, 10,000 credits $300, 10DLC $10$2,788Scale $249, 15 users, 10,000 segments and Salesforce

The third row is where per user pricing bites. A team that needs Salesforce has to be on Pro, and Pro is $199 a seat. If Heymarket includes some credits in your contract, subtract them from the credit line, but the seat cost alone is $2,388 a month. On ColdTexting the same people and volume fit on Scale at $249 a month billed yearly, or $499 month to month. You can check every plan limit on the ColdTexting pricing page.

Is Heymarket worth the price?

Heymarket is worth the price for teams that use what the higher tiers add: AI agents that answer texts on their own, RCS and WhatsApp in the same inbox, HIPAA coverage on Pro, and shared inboxes for support and sales together. A clinic group or a large service desk that texts customers all day can justify $199 a seat for that.

It is harder to justify for an outbound sales team. Reps who text leads from web forms and ad campaigns mostly need four things: proof that each contact opted in, sending windows that follow the lead's state, follow-ups that stop when the lead replies, and a clean sync to the CRM. None of that needs AI agents or RCS, and paying per seat for them means every new hire raises the bill by $49 to $199 a month.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Heymarket?

Yes, for sales teams that mainly text leads. ColdTexting charges per plan, not per seat: Starter is $49 a month or $24 billed yearly for one user, Growth is $149 or $74 yearly for five users and three numbers, and Scale is $499 or $249 yearly for fifteen users with Salesforce, the REST API and sub-accounts. Segments are included in each plan rather than billed per credit.

The difference is also in what happens before a text goes out. ColdTexting stores the consent source and timestamp on every contact and holds back imported rows that have none. It scores each message and sequence step for compliance before sending, applies quiet hours by the recipient's state, including the stricter Florida and Oklahoma rules, and stops a sequence the moment someone replies or texts STOP. That matters because a single marketing text sent without consent can cost $500 under the TCPA, or up to $1,500 when a court finds it willful. The controls are covered in detail on the TCPA compliance software page.

Where Heymarket stays ahead: ColdTexting has no AI agent, no RCS or WhatsApp channel and no HIPAA plan. If those are on your requirements list, Heymarket or a healthcare focused tool is the better pick.

How Heymarket pricing compares with similar tools

Most business texting tools for teams price in one of two ways. Per user tools like Heymarket and Salesmsg charge for each seat and bill usage separately. Bundle tools like Textline sell a team package with a set number of agents, then charge for extra agents and credits. We priced the main ones from their own published figures:

  • Textline pricing starts at $149 a month with 3 agents and 600 credits, and each extra agent costs $50 to $70.
  • Salesmsg pricing starts at $25 a month with one seat, then $10 per extra seat and credits for every text and call minute.
  • Heymarket starts at $98 a month for its 2 seat minimum, before credits.

For a team of one or two, Salesmsg is usually cheapest. From five reps up, per seat pricing tends to cost more than a plan that bundles users. If your reps also call the leads who never text back, an AI cold calling assistant can work the phone side of the same list while texting handles the replies.

Questions to ask Heymarket sales before you sign

  1. How many message credits are included per user or per account, and do unused credits roll over?
  2. What is the per credit overage rate at our expected volume, and is there a cap on automatic top-ups?
  3. What is the month to month price per user if we do not want an annual contract?
  4. Do inbound replies use credits?
  5. What do SSO and directory sync cost if we need them?
  6. Can we add and remove seats mid-contract, and how are they prorated?

Before any of those calls, it helps to know whether the texts your reps already send would pass a carrier and TCPA review. Paste one into the compliance checker on this page and see what gets flagged. If the HubSpot side matters most to you, the HubSpot SMS integration page shows how replies and opt-outs land on the contact record without a Zapier step.
